Switch solves a real friction point rather than inventing a new one: agents that cannot see the conversation around them are much less useful than agents that can. Being open source and self-hostable matters here, because the alternative means routing your internal channels through a third party. The Commons Clause on top of Apache 2.0 restricts selling it as a service, which is fine for internal use but worth reading if you plan to resell.
