How are tools ranked?

Tools are ranked by a combination of upvotes, recent click activity, and editorial picks. Featured and Premium tools get a placement boost but are not inserted into editorial 'best of' lists — those stay independent.

Is Toolglade free to use?

Yes — browsing, searching, voting, and reviewing are 100% free. We make money through affiliate links (clearly disclosed) and paid Featured/Premium listings for tool owners. Disabling cookies via the consent banner removes affiliate tracking.

How do I submit my AI tool?

Visit the Submit page, fill in your tool's basics, and our team reviews submissions within 3 business days. Free listings are accepted if your tool meets quality standards. Want priority placement? See the Pricing page.

How do I claim a tool I own?

Find your tool's page and click 'Claim this tool'. We send a verification email to an address on your tool's domain. Once verified, you can manage the listing and upgrade to a paid plan.

What happens if I report a tool?

Reports go to our admin queue. We investigate within 48 hours. If a tool is confirmed dead, scam, or malicious, we either unpublish it or add a warning banner.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Visit your dashboard and use the 'Delete my account' button under Privacy controls. This removes your votes, reviews, favorites, collections, and newsletter subscription permanently. Public aggregate vote counts on tools remain (anonymized).

How do I export my data?

From your dashboard, click 'Export my data' under Privacy controls. You'll get a JSON file with everything we hold about you.

I'm not getting emails — what now?

Check spam first. If verification or password-reset emails don't arrive, request again from the dashboard. If still nothing, contact us and we'll investigate.

Why do I need to verify my email?

We require email verification to post reviews and claim tools. This prevents fake accounts from manipulating ratings or making fraudulent claims.

Do you use AI to generate content?

Yes — for some tool descriptions and blog drafts, an LLM helps us scale coverage. All AI-generated content is reviewed by humans before publishing. Editorial articles and Best AI Tools picks are written by our team.

How do I advertise?
