Scalenut was founded in 2021 by Mayank Jain, Gaurav Goyal, and Saurabh Wadhawan. The company builds an end-to-end AI content and SEO suite intended to move users from keyword research through brief creation to a published, optimized draft.

Scalenut has positioned itself as an all-in-one alternative to using separate tools for research, writing, and optimization, and has more recently added features around AI-search and generative-engine visibility.

Core capabilities include keyword planning and clustering, SERP-based competitor analysis, automatically generated content briefs, and an optimization editor that grades drafts against top-ranking pages. Cruise Mode produces long-form articles from a keyword in a guided, step-by-step flow.

The platform also offers a library of AI writing templates for shorter marketing copy, an AI writing assistant, and workflow features such as projects and workspaces. Newer additions focus on generating and optimizing content for AI-driven search results.

Scalenut targets solo content creators, freelancers, SEO and content agencies, and small-to-midsize marketing teams that want an integrated research-to-writing workflow at a lower price point than enterprise content platforms.

Scalenut has raised venture funding. An initial seed round of roughly $400,000 in 2021 was led by Titan Capital and First Principles VC with participation from AngelList and angel investors. In 2022 the company raised a $3.1 million round led by Saama Capital, with participation from former Google executive Amit Singhal. Reported total funding is around $6.5 million across its rounds; a specific valuation has not been publicly disclosed.
