Toolglade’s take

A favorite among portrait retouchers for its focused AI plugins like Heal, Dodge and Burn, and Skin Tone that automate tedious skin work in seconds while keeping natural texture. Each plugin is a separate paid purchase and it is built for portraits, so the full workflow gets expensive and narrow beyond people.

About Retouch4me

Retouch4me is a suite of single-purpose AI retouching plugins for Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One that automate skin healing, dodge and burn, and cleanup with professional-quality results.

Retouch4me takes a different approach from all-in-one editors: it ships a family of narrowly focused plugins, each trained to perform one high-skill retouching task the way a professional retoucher would. Plugins include Heal, Skin Mask, Dodge and Burn, Volume Portraits, Clean Backdrop, Fabric, and more, plus the newer Apex one-click portrait retoucher. The result is fast, natural, frequency-separation-quality output without manual pixel work. The tools are aimed at professional photographers and retouchers who value control and quality. Because each plugin is separate, users can buy only the tasks they need, and results integrate directly into a Photoshop or Capture One workflow as adjustable layers rather than destructive edits. Retouch4me sells plugins on perpetual licenses with free updates, and also offers a cloud, pay-per-use credit model for occasional or high-volume projects. It occupies a specialist niche prized by wedding, beauty, and commercial photographers who want to save hours per shoot.

Company overview

Retouch4me develops AI-driven retouching plugins that replicate the work of professional retouchers. Rather than a monolithic editor, it offers a growing family of focused tools that photographers can buy individually.

The company added a cloud credit model and the Apex one-click retoucher to broaden its appeal from studio pros to higher-volume and occasional users.

Product features

The plugin family includes Heal, Skin Mask, Dodge and Burn, Volume Portraits, Clean Backdrop, Fabric, Face Make, and Apex, each trained for one retouching task. Results appear as adjustable layers for non-destructive control.

Plugins integrate with Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One, and a cloud pay-per-use option lets users retouch by credits without buying every plugin.

Target market

The tools target professional retouchers and photographers in wedding, beauty, portrait, and commercial work who process large volumes and need consistent, natural results quickly.
