Expansion of Unreal 5.8's native MCP with deep editor and profiling tools
VibeUE is the pick if you are on Unreal 5.8 and want an agent that can also profile performance, not just place objects — its frame-timing and Insights-trace tooling is unusual and genuinely useful. MIT-licensed and very active. Requires UE 5.8+ with Epic's native MCP turned on first. Verified on 2026-10-14.
Facts & pricing last checked October 2026. How we review
VibeUE expands Unreal 5.8's native MCP with deep editor tools and a performance-profiling service that helps an agent diagnose frame-rate drops.
VibeUE assumes you have enabled Unreal 5.8's native Model Context Protocol support, then extends it. On top of the base tools it adds editor capabilities across landscape sculpting, Niagara effects, UMG UI, and audio, plus a performance and profiling service that can read frame timing and Insights traces and give a CPU-versus-GPU verdict. That profiling angle is the differentiator: instead of only building content, an agent can help find why a scene runs slowly. VibeUE is very actively developed and MIT-licensed; it requires UE 5.8+ with Epic's native MCP enabled first.
