Type is a shared team workspace that moves individual Claude, Codex, and ChatGPT conversations into Spaces with common files, integrations, skills, memory, and automations.

Type is built on the observation that most AI work in a company is invisible: each person has their own chat history, their own prompts, and their own hard-won context, none of which the team can see or reuse. Type moves that work into shared Spaces, where threads, files, skills, memory, and automations live together and permissions control who can see what. Practically, members connect subscriptions they already have, so Type acts as a workspace layer rather than another model bill. It exposes integrations over OAuth, MCP, or direct API, with a stated catalogue of 900 or more, and lets teams build reusable skills and automations on top rather than re-prompting from scratch. Pricing is unusual in that all tiers share the same feature set and differ only by seats and credits: Basic at 50 dollars for two members and 100 credits, Pro at 100 dollars for four members and 200 credits, and Enterprise at 250 dollars for twenty members and 500 credits, with larger contracts available. The vendor announced a 4 million dollar raise on its site.
