Best for
  • english teachers
  • ESL and EFL tutors
  • language schools
  • College and university students seeking course-specific study help
  • Students preparing for exams who need practice questions and worked solutions
  • Learners who want AI answers grounded in real academic documents
Pros
  • Purpose-built for English teaching
  • 30+ specialized tools in one place
  • Content tailored to CEFR levels
  • Converts YouTube videos into materials
  • Affordable freemium pricing
  • Combines AI answers with an unusually deep library of over 100 million crowdsourced study documents and 20 million answered questions, so responses are anchored to real course material rather than generic model output.
  • The document-centric workflow adds answers, explanations, and defined key concepts directly into an uploaded file, which keeps help in context and encourages understanding over simple copy-paste.
  • Access to more than 2
  • 600 vetted subject-matter tutors available around the clock provides a genuine human fallback when AI explanations fall short.
  • Practice-problem matching links uploaded questions to similar items in the library, turning a single assignment into a broader study session.
Cons
  • Focused only on English language teaching
  • No API or team collaboration features
  • Limited to text-based outputs
  • Best free features are capped
  • Not suited to other subjects
  • Subscription costs can climb quickly, and the platform's pricing tiers are not always clearly presented up front, making it hard to know what you'll actually pay before committing.
  • Because much of the library is user-uploaded, the quality and accuracy of documents varies, and AI answers can inherit those inconsistencies.
  • The document-upload model means your uploads are shared and enriched on the platform, which may not suit students concerned about content ownership or academic integrity policies.
  • It is built for individual students rather than institutions, with no meaningful team, classroom, or educator administration layer.
